Three hard working young Bonners Ferry brothers; Ethan, 14, Hunter, 12, and Ammon Matthews, 10, have launched "Ground Breakers," offering Bonners Ferry businesses and residents full lawn care, tractor and excavator services through the summer break, working to learn and hone their business skills and to raise money for college. The sons of Nicholas and Leann Matthews, in grades 11, nine and six, respectively, have shown an entrepreneurial spirit and a propensity for working hard and helping others far beyond their years.

"I've always been impressed that my boys never shirk work," Nicholas said. "They have been bucking hay and working since as long as I can remember, they understand that work is about helping a community as much as it is making money and I know they want to be successful in this. I don't think they will let anyone down and I'm proud of them for deciding to do this!"

Their parents have been very supportive from the first time they raised the idea, Ethan said, and Dad quickly agreed to let the use his John Deere Tractor, Hitachi Excavator and Raptor mower for the summer, as well as the other power and hand tools and gear the boys will need to tackle any job no matter how big or how small and do an outstanding job.

Ground Breakers offer dependable service and quality work and can take on any yard project their customers need done that can be done with a mower, a tractor and an excavator.

Available now until school starts back up in the fall, call Ethan at (208) 304-6981 to learn more and put these dependable, punctual and personable young men to work for you!
