Lieutenant Governor

Priscilla Giddings

From the Idaho GOP Voters Guide
Priscilla grew up on a ranch in White Bird and graduated as student body president and valedictorian of Salmon River High in Riggins. She earned a B.S. in biology from the United States Air Force Academy and an M.S. Degree in physiology. An NCAA Division athlete, she’s the author of "Curiously Strong: A Female Fighter Pilot’s Story of Developing Strength."

Priscilla was awarded “Top Gun” as an A-10 fighter pilot, served nine years active duty, including three combat deployments, accumulating 1,000 combat flight hours in the MC-12. Priscilla received Idaho’s 2018 Outstanding Woman Veteran Award. She’s a lifetime member of the NRA, American Legion, VFW and AmVets.

After separating from active duty, Priscilla was elected to the Idaho House of Representatives, serving District 7A since 2016. She lives in White Bird with her husband Matt and their two daughters, Hannah and Gwendolyn.

Top 3 Issues:

1. Second Amendment: The right to keep and bear arms is what protects and guarantees all other rights. Priscilla strongly supports our proud heritage of hunting and responsible firearms ownership. The Second Amendment defends your God-given right to self-defense, and is designed not only as a protection against violent crime, but to safeguard the ability of the people to defend freedom. Priscilla has championed the pro-gun stand your ground law, the bill to improve Constitutional Carry, the Small Arms Protection Act and the Firearms Preemption Act. She is a proven gun rights champion.

2. Right to Life: The right to life is central to the very concept of a free society. To “”legalize”” the killing of any person is wrong. Period. Abortion is the greatest injustice of our time. Priscilla is fighting to end abortion. It is time to stand up to Joe Biden’s federal government and to say “”No more!”” She has championed legislation to outlaw abortion in Idaho and has voted for the heartbeat bill. She is standing for EVERY person’s right to life.

3. End Fraud and Corruption: Priscilla is winning the fight against corruption and election fraud. Her recent bill to ban ballot drop boxes just passed the Idaho House. Giddings also sponsored a recent bill through the House and Senate that would ensure that deceased individuals are removed from the election register. She is championing measures to require full voter ID and honest absentee ballot management. Priscilla is fighting for open, honest government.
