Pearl to screen locally-produce film, 'The Fade: Resistance'

The Pearl Theater will host a screening of the locally produced film, "The Fade: Resistance," with a Q & A to follow at 7 p.m. Friday, October 7, the Pearl Theater, 7160 Ash Street, Bonners Ferry. "The Fade: Resistance" takes place in the year 2052 and follows a teenage girl as she finds her way through a reality forced upon her.

She must not only recover from trauma dealt to her in the past but find the courage to pursue two of her friends who have mysteriously disappeared. Warning: This film contains subject matter that may be sensitive to certain individuals, including attempted suicide and youth kidnapping.
