Improv classes and show coming to the Pearl Theater

On Saturday, March 11, improv is coming to Bonners Ferry, not only on the Pearl Theater stage with the Pearl's favorite comedian, Michael Glatzmaier, but in improvisation classes at the Pearl that'll not only teach you how to think on your feet and deliver the wholly unexpected hilarious retort, but help build your confidence and communication skills in ways that can benefit myriad aspects of everyday life.

Presented by MGTeams (Motivating Great Teams), the classes use improvisational theater to learn team building skills useful at home, school or work and/or just to try something fun and new. Those conducting the training have been doing and teaching improv for years to audiences in corporate, business, education, non-profit and other fields.

An adult class takes place from 1 to 3 p.m. and a class for youth ages 10 to 18 years old takes place from 3 to 5 p.m. Cost is $20 per person online or at the door.

Those who attend the classes will be invited to perform at Improv Night at the Pearl, a family-friendly show that begins at 7 p.m. The Pearl Cafe will be serving dinner specials, snacks, sweet treats and drinks. Advance tickets are $10 online, $15 at the door. Doors and the Pearl Cafe open at 6 p.m.
