What does it take to be a successful Boundary County Commissioner? A good candidate for County Commissioner would be someone who was raised and has lived in Boundary County for a lifetime and is intimately knowledgeable about every inch of Boundary County. Someone who has worked extensively in the timber industry and who owns his own business with an understanding of what it takes to manage one.

A person who has attended and graduated from Boundary County schools and understands its challenges by serving on it’s school board. A person who has raised his children in Boundary County. A person who has extended family living in Boundary County from varied walks of life within the county.

Someone who already has experience as an elected official responsible for the care and expenditures of millions of tax payer dollars in the most effective and prudent manner.

What candidate would meet all of those qualities? That would be Tim Bertling.
