A new Paul Rawlings play shaping up nicely

September 16, 2021

Paul Rawlings
Local playwright and director Paul Rawlings is currently in rehearsal with his newest theater production, "Swan Song."

“Opening night is only a month away and things are shaping up very nicely,” Rawlings said.

This production introduces several new members to the local stage including Ilona Rosengrant, Rona Hall, Bob Hall, Matt Brown, Alanna Dodd and Cal Russell, along with veteran thespians Chris Rawlings, Colleen Mooney, Lynn Hayworth, Steven Howlett and Deanna Yeager.

“Especially exciting is the live music being provided by well-known Boundary County songstress Barb Robertson, who will bring a special feeling to the performances,” Rawlings said. "Mark your calendars, because this is one you won’t want to miss!"

"Swan Song" will be staged at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, October 29 - 30 and November 5-6, and there will be a matinee at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 31, at the Pearl Theater, 7160 Ash Street, Bonners Ferry. Ticket information will be released soon.

Swan Song is sponsored by the Pearl Theater.
