Naples Elementary has lots to be thankful for

Thank you to our Board of Trustees and district administration for their continued support! We know you are always on duty for our schools and our kids, so thank you! Congratulations to Teresa Rae on her re-election as the Naples community board representative. We look forward to having you serve our schools.

A hearty thanks to Grocery Outlet for their generous donation of snacks and drinks for our students to access and enjoy throughout the school year. We are so grateful our BoCo Backpack program volunteers. They keep our kiddos well fed over the weekends and holidays.

Our School-wide Academic Interventions for Learning (SAIL) time is proving to be successful. We have been focusing on phonemic awareness at all grade levels. Our students are showing a greater understanding of phonics.

The University of Idaho brought NASA robots to Naples through a community grant program. We were one of five schools in the region to experience these fun robots with a space theme. The STEAM classroom is running full “steam” ahead! Ms. Jennifer Indahl has already provided many great learning experiences in the science, technology, engineering, art and math areas. Next up ... FLIGHT!

Naples honored veterans this morning with a story, a song and special table setting at lunchtime to remember the fallen Vets.

The art in our hallways is something to be seen! Ms. Heather Olson and the students have stunning creations on display. The K-5 team has also donned their bulletin boards with great works. Come check it out!
