December 7, 2021

The National Weather Service, Spokane, has issued a winter weather advisory for North Idaho and northeast Washington, calling for snow and freezing rain, in effect from midnight to 7 a.m. Wednesday. Conditions could make the morning commute treacherous.

A winter weather advisory has also been issued for the Kootenai/Cabinet region of northwest Montana, in effect from 1 to 8 a.m. Wednesday, for up to an inch of new snow, a tenth of an inch of ice and high valley winds gusting to as much as 40 miles-per-hour after 9 a.m.
