Lee Colson appointed to library board

The Boundary County Library District Board of Trustees selected Lee Colson to fill the Zone 5 position after interviewing three candidates at a special board meeting on Tuesday, December 7. The position had been held by Judy Mace until her passing October 3. A long-time resident of Boundary County and recently retired from the U.S Forest Service, Lee is looking forward to serving the residents of his trustee zone.

He will serve until May, 2023, when the position is up for election.

Members of the library board expressed their appreciation of the number of highly qualified candidates who applied.

The library board will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 16, at the Boundary Country Library, 6370 Kootenai Street, Bonners Ferry. For the agenda, click here.
