Vandecoevering SBFD Firefighter of the Year

Each year South Boundary Fire personnel vote for the volunteer they feel deserves the title of Firefighter of the Year. This person has gone above and beyond the call of duty and exceeded expectations. They have been a mentor and a friend, a person they can depend on.

"We feel this person has demonstrated a calming voice in the midst of chaotic situations, and has been there to support us all," they posted on Facebook.

Congratulations to Mike Vandecoevering for being chosen as South Boundary Fire District's 2021 Firefighter of the year!
