Santa(s) make day before Christmas break special for BCMS students

December 29, 2021

Boundary County School District 101 administration and staff at Boundary County Middle School extend thanks to two local businesses and multiple elves for making it possible for every middle school student to receive a warm blanket, hot chocolate, and candy cane as they left school for the holidays.

The following letter from Santa was read at the end of the day:

Dear Students,

Throughout Christmas past and present, your teachers have heard of one gift that has been enjoyed and loved.

A few of the teachers contacted my elves and through some generous donations from community members and quick work of helpers, we were able to put together this surprise for all of you.

As you leave today, please be patient as we pass out this gift on your way home. We hope you have a very Merry Christmas and look forward to seeing you in the new year.

Love, Santa and his helpers
"We are truly blessed to live in such a generous community," superintendent Jan Bayer said. "Thank you to the businesses that made the gifts possible for our students."
