Tribe seeking environmental director

The Kootenai Tribe of Idaho is seeking applications for the position of environmental director, a full-time position developing and implementing the Tribal Environmental program, working with the tribal council, the Environmental Protection Agency and others on projects encompassing environmental health planning, integrated resource management, air quality monitoring and data management and more.

The successful candidate must have a degree, preferably a masters, in environmental management or related field and at least 10 years experience, preferably working with Indian tribes.

Salary is dependent on education and experience, and preference will be given to qualified Native American applicants.
