Moyie Springs clean-up day is Saturday

June 1, 2022

The City of Moyie Springs is asking all residents to pitch in Saturday, June 4, as the community spruces up for spring in its 16th annual clean-up day, with volunteers meeting at city hall at 8 a.m., and again at noon for a community potluck.

City residents who have cars, tires, old refrigerators or other appliances, scrap, trash or garbage, with the exception of hazardous materials, removed from their property are asked to put the unwanted items out at the street and to call city hall.

City officials are asking for volunteers to help pick up and haul the refuse to the landfill as well as to do yard work and general sprucing up. All volunteers are welcome and appreciated!

To volunteer or to have your unwanted items picked up, call Donna or John, (208) 267-5161 or (208) 255-8630.

City residents are also encouraged to prepare your favorite side dish and bring the whole family to the community pot luck/lunch at Moyie Springs City Hall at noon to enjoy a meal and visit with neighbors.

The city is providing hamburgers, hot dogs and chips.

Heavy rain will cancel.
