Flood watch issued for North Idaho

June 11, 2022

The National Weather Service, Spokane, has issued a flood watch for North Idaho and northwest Washington in effect until Monday evening as multiple rounds of rain are expected over the region, with up to three inches possible in some areas.

Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations, including on and near burn scars. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. In addition, mudslides, debris flow and landslips will be possible.
