Three Mile crew ready for Thanksgiving

November 23, 2022

While no one has kept count, Chuck Quillen and his crew at Three Mile Cafe are geared up and ready for a busy day tomorrow, which must be close to their 40th annual free Thanksgiving dinner, open to all who stop in between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. no matter if you're a long time regular or just passing by, rich or poor. It's a Boundary County tradition and Chuck's way of expressing his gratitude to his customers and the community.

And there's no skimping, either ... the kitchen crew arrives plenty early to fill the entire establishment with the savory aroma of roasting turkeys, baking pies and simmering side dishes for a full traditional feast, waiting for the tables to fill with long-time neighbors and friends meeting for the very first time, wait staff bustling through with steaming plates and smiles bright.

Stop in tomorrow ... you'll find the Three Mile Cafe at 51031 US-95, at the Three Mile Junction three miles north of Bonners Ferry. It's what Thanksgiving is all about!
