Winter storm warning  for Kootenai/Cabinet

The National Weather Service, Missoula, has issued a winter storm warning for the Kootenai Cabinet Region for heavy mixed precipitation, in effect through 11 a.m. Christmas day.

Snow accumulations of one to three inches from a tenth to a quarter inch of ice are expected.

Areas north of Highway 2 could see slightly higher totals as the snow will likely linger.
