Suspect arrested in Moscow student murders

The Moscow Police Department will hold a press conference at 1 p.m. today, in the City Council Chambers at Moscow City Hall. Police Chief James Fry will give an update of the ongoing investigation into the quadruple homicide that occurred at 1122 King Road on Sunday, November 13, for which an arrest was made today in Pennsylvania.

Officials from the Moscow Police Department, Idaho State Police, the City of Moscow and University of Idaho will be present. The conference will be live streamed on YouTube.

On November 13, four University of Idaho students; Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogan, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin were found stabbed to death in their off-campus apartment.

The suspect, Bryan Kohberger, 28, was arrested by FBI and arraigned in the Monroe County Courthouse. Kohberger, an Albrightsville, Pennsylvania native, is a graduate student at Washington State University in Pullman, pursuing his Ph.D in criminal justice and criminology.
