Flood watch in effect Thursday and Friday

The National Weather Service, Spokane, has issued a flood watch for flash flooding caused by excessive rain fall from 11 a.m. Thursday through 11 a.m. Friday. Thunderstorms are expected to first impact the central Idaho Panhandle early Thursday and transition to torrential rainfall by mid to late Thursday into northeast and north central Washington.
