Chamber plans full Kootenai River Days lineup

Here's the exciting lineup for the 108th annual Kootenai River Days celebration, offering family fun for everyone July 19 - 22 in and around downtown Bonners Ferry. From great sidewalk sales to sidewalk art, fire dancers, the Kootenai River Run, both a cornhole and golf tournament, a wine walk, two street dances and more, it's a great time to head into town!

Wednesday, July 19
• Chalk the Block, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Stop by the Teascarlet Fine Art, 6389 Kootenai Street, to pick up chalk (and drawing ideas, if you want), and head to a blank spot on the sidewalk to make some art! Free, with prizes. Donations will go towards providing more events like this.
• Free family movie, “Goonies,” dusk, Library Park.

Thursday, July 20
• Chalk the Block, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Stop by the Teascarlet Fine Art, 6389 Kootenai Street, to pick up chalk (and drawing ideas, if you want), and head to a blank spot on the sidewalk to make some art! Free, with prizes. Donations will go towards providing more events like this.
• Rotary Wine Walk — 5:30 p.m., begins at Riverside Auto; tickets $50 available at Mountain West Bank, Under the Sun and Century 21 Real Estate.

Friday, July 21
• Crazy Days — all day

• Kootenai River Blues Band, 4 p.m.
• Dunk tank, 5 - 7 p.m.
• Jail and bail, 6 - 10 p.m., Georgia May Plaza;
• Main Street dance with Northwest Sound Man, 6 - 11 p.m.

Saturday, July 22
• Crazy Days, all day
• Kootenai River Run 5K and 10K, 8 a.m. at the fairgrounds. To register, visit www.kootenairiverrun.com.
• Fry Health Care Cornhole Tournament , 9 a.m. check in and registration, event starts at 10 a.m. downtown. $40 per team, social and pro levels. Register at www.boundarycommunityhospital.org/foundation/cornhole.
• Birdies For Brothers Golf Tournament, 9 a.m. To learn m,ore or register, call Colton, (208) 946-0821.
• Farmers Market, 9 a.m., city parking lot.

• Street dance, 7-11 p.m., downtown with Jam Shack
