Missing Montana woman found dead

At the request of Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Two Bear Air Rescue was conducting an aerial search along Hwy 56, south of Troy today in an attempt to locate the vehicle of missing person Beverly Parker Perez. At approximately 11:10 a.m., a vehicle was located submerged in Savage Lake, approximately 25 meters offshore of the boat ramp.

LCSO detectives, deputies and divers responded to the area. Divers located the submerged Honda Ridgeline vehicle offshore under about 12 feet of water, and confirmed that it belonged Perez. Divers were able to determine that a deceased female was in the vehicle.

Additional divers from the Boundary County Sheriff’s Office responded and assisted with the recovery of the vehicle. Once the vehicle was ashore, an identification of the deceased was made and confirmed to be Beverly Parker Perez, aged 64, of Troy, Montana.

The ongoing investigation is being conducted by the Montana Highway Patrol.
