Annual Christmas Holiday Movie, 2 p.m., the Pearl Theater, 7160 Ash Street, Bonners Ferry. This year's film is 'The Year Without Santa Claus' and yes, kids will be out in time to visit Santa and Mrs. Claus for the Bonners Ferry holiday lighting ceremony at Georgia Mae Plaza. Hometown Holidays town holiday lighting ceremony, 4 p.m., Georgia Mae Plaza in downtown Bonners Ferry. Cookies, hot cocoa and goodie bags as families await the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus ... and even the Grinch! Kids can sit with Santa to share their wish lists and get photos, the community choir will perform at 4:30 p.m. and the mayor will throw the switch to officially light up the town for the holidays!

Wreath Making Workshop, 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, 3661 Kootenai Trail Road, Bonners Ferry. Learn how to make a fresh wreath while learning about the native evergreen species that grow in our region. Wreath frame, wire, and greenery will be provided. Bring your own pruners, wire cutters, scissors and any wreath embellishments you would like to use. Cost is $15. In this class you will learn many different ways to create a unique gift in a jar. You’ll go home with some of your Christmas gifts already made, and recipes for creating more at home. Cost is $10.
