Four local student earn degrees at U 0f I

A total of 637 degrees were awarded to 583 students December 11 in Moscow during the University of Idaho's Winter 2021 Commencement. Five of the degrees went to four Boundary County students, including one doctorate.

Daniel Ortiz Perez, Bonners Ferry, earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering, Evan R. Wasmer, Moyie Springs, earned BS degrees in general marketing and renewable materials, Ryan M. Gillespie, also of Moyie Springs, earned his Ph.D. in education and Haley J. Wenk, Naples, earned her BS in secondary education.
