Ussher signs to run for Community Colleges of Spokane

April 22, 2022

Camille Ussher had been going back and forth between Community Colleges of Spokane and a couple of other schools that were interested, but ultimately her choice came down, wisely, to which option provided her the best academic options and the opportunity to grow and compete immediately as an athlete.

She’ll be running cross country and track, which will include an indoor track season.

In high school, Camille has become a standout cross country runner and team leader, and in track she has become a state level runner in the 800m, has been competitive in the 400m, and helped out on a couple different relays over her career.

"We’re very proud of her and the runner, student, and person she has become," coach Tyler Warner said. "We can’t wait to see what college level competition brings her!"

"From Bonners Ferry Idaho to Spokane, welcome to the team Camille," CCS head women's cross country coach Sean McLachlan said. "Camille is a hard worker and will bring an awesome attitude to the team!"
