Richards to fight as a Golden Bear

Standout Badger Wrestler Eli Richards has signed a letter of intent to continue his wrestling career at the next level the University of Alberta. With colleges from over 10 different states recruiting Eli, he has decided to head out of the country, north to Edmonton to wrestle for the University of Alberta Golden Bears next year.

With over 40,000 students, the University of Alberta is a top five Canadian university and considered an Ivy league school of Canada, as well as a global top-100 university with international students from 148 countries.

Instead of wrestling the typical folk style as the colleges do here in the U.S., Eli will be wrestling freestyle, which he prefers, as a Golden Bear at the University of Alberta.
