Bonners Ferry High School Badger wrestler and Bonners Ferry
Wrestling Club member Jackson Rickter recently signed a letter
of intent to wrestle for the Warriors of Waldorf University,
Forest City, Iowa, an National Association of Intercollegiate
Athletics division school. Jackson is a two time state placer,
taking second this year for the Badgers.
He has also
been on the USA Idaho Wrestling Cadet National Dual Team for
two years and represented Team Idaho at Fargo USA Freestyle
and Greco Nationals this year, where he gained considerable
knowledge to help him make it to the state finals this year.
Coaches and teammates say Jackson is the true definition of
hard work, dedication and a good practice partner, and many
times it would be only Jackson showing up to train and/or
practice with Eli Richards during freestyle n Greco season.
