Claybusters not slowed down by weather |
||
December 21, 2022
It was 12 degrees and snowing on Saturday, and still the intrepid Bonners Ferry High School shooting team, Duke's Claybusters, were out on their Highway 2 home range, breaking clay and honing their skills. Firing at 50 clay disks 4 5/16 inches in diameter launched at about 45 miles per hour, this week's top scorers were Kamen Nelson, hitting 41, Dillon McLeish, 34, and Noah Nichols, 33. Coach Ron Campbell expressed his pride in the team and lauded the fortitude and dedication of each member. He has granted the team a rare week off from practice this Saturday, and he wishes each member a very merry Christmas. |
