Badger girls 2023 Idaho State golf champs!

Braylyn Bayer led the Bonners Ferry Badger girls golf team to a state 3A championship Monday and Tuesday at the Blackfoot Golf Course, Blackfoot, Idaho, with a total gross over the two rounds of 153 for a +9 total to par gross. Her sister, Avery Bayer, finished third with a 162 total gross. As a team, the Badger ladies shot a 739 total gross, Kimberly came in second with 743 and Teton finished third with 811 strokes.

Ellie Stastny, Kimberly, was state runner-up with 159 strokes.

Badger Mia Blackmore finished in 10th place with 194 strokes, Holly Alexander came in 23rd with 230 strokes and Ava Villelli rounded out the Badger effort in 34th place 254 strokes.

The Badger boys finished state play in seventh place with 772 strokes; Kimberly took the 2023 title with 635.

Eli Blackmore led the Badger effort, finishing in 13th place with 172 strokes; Evan Reitz came in a stroke behinds, 173, for a 14th place finish. Badger Tyson Tadlock tied with Homedale's Jackson Kerbs, 199 strokes for 32ndplace, and Badgers Chago Jiminez and Jacob Bliss came in 41st and 42nd with 229 and 231 strokes, respectively.
