BCSD annual sports physicals coming July 25

May 30, 2023

Boundary Community Hospital is thrilled to announce the continuation of our Free Annual Sports Physicals program in collaboration with Boundary County School District 101, to provide free health screenings to children. These physicals are an essential requirement before students can embark on their exciting journey in BCSD sports, be it robotics, flag football or any other sport. This opportunity is available to students entering grades 7, 9, 11, or those who are new to the sports programs.

Dedicated medical staff and hospital employees generously volunteer their time to ensure that every student has the chance to participate in sports. It's a remarkable one-night-only event from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 25.

To make the process seamless, students and their parents or guardians are requested to gather at the cafeteria entrance of Boundary Community Hospital on Comanche Street. From there, they will visit six different testing stations and conclude with a brief consultation with a medical practitioner, ensuring a comprehensive health assessment.

A consent form, signed by parent/guardian and the student, is necessary for approval and permission. Coaches will provide the consent forms at the event. It is essential for parents/guardians to accompany their child during the process at the sports physicals.

Should you have any questions or require further information, please don't hesitate to reach out to Bonners Ferry High School at (208) 267-3149. At Boundary Community Hospital, we take pride in being your local hospital, committed to caring for our community every day.
