The National Weather Service, Spokane, has issued a winter weather advisory for snow in North Idaho and northeast Washington, in effect from 1 p.m. Saturday to 1 p.m. Sunday. Two to five inches of snow could fall in the valleys and five to ten inches are possible in the mountains.
The heaviest snow is expected to fall Saturday night and into Sunday morning. Be prepared for slick roads and sidewalks, possible fallen trees and power line failures, possibly resulting in power outages.
