The National Weather Service, Spokane, has issued a winter weather advisory for early morning snow on Monday, with one to three inches possible in the valleys and up to six inches on the higher benches. The advisory is is effect from midnight to noon on Monday.
Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.
For elevations below 2500 feet, precipitation will start as a mix of rain and snow Sunday night with potential to transition to heavy wet snow early Monday morning. Minor tree damage will be possible. For elevations 2,500 feet and higher, precipitation will remain all snow.
