Bonner’s Ferry Chapter AP of P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization) will be sponsoring a number of $1,000 college scholarships for female graduates of Bonners Ferry High School again this year. Last year’s scholarships recipients included Jasmine Daniels, Trew Lammers, Emma Lucas and Kaylee McCabe.
The deadline for P.E.O. college scholarship applications for this year’s female high school graduates is Friday, April 12. The number of awards varies, depending on applicants and available funds. Please contact Alyssa Pinkerton, School Counselor, at 208-267-3149 for more information or visit their website.
These scholarships are entirely funded by revenue from our annual Yard and Plant Sale and holiday nut sales. This year’s Yard and Plant Sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, April 26, at the Church of the Nazarene, 158 Meadow Creek Road, Bonners Ferry.
The yard sale will include clothes, household goods, fabric, and plants for your home and garden.
