The Seniors Hospitality Center, 6635 Lincoln Street will reopen its doors on May 6, following a temporary closure after the discovery of significant management issues. An audit is now underway, and the board, administration and staff are all pleased that food service and all activities but bingo will resume o Monday.
“We understand the importance of our services to the community and are committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all congregates,” Seniors Center president & CEO Misha Davis wrote in a press release issued this afternoon. “All activities minus bingo will be resuming. We would like to take this opportunity to remind you that volunteers are still needed to support various programs and services at the senior center. Your time and dedication are greatly appreciated, and we welcome all those interested in giving back to their community.”
