Free Avian flu tests will be given from 2 to 6 p.m. , Wednesday, July 24, at the fairgrounds indoor arena. The test will require a simple blood draw; they nick the bird harmlessly under the wing for the sample.
The test is required before any fowl will be admitted to the Boundary County Fair.
There are also special awards for Top Hen and Top Rooster; same as last year.
