BCSD 101 raising readers

Each year Boundary County School District 101 Kindergarten through third grade students complete the Idaho Reading Indicator assessment in the fall, winter and spring. The State of Idaho tracks proficiency and growth in all state school districts, and BCSD  101 continues to see substantial growth in our student scores each year.
For the second time in two years, we have reached the top ten of all districts in Idaho for showing the highest growth from Fall to Spring scores. Our teachers continue to instruct using core instructional materials consistently across the district and provide target instruction for students not meeting grade level targets. Our teachers, paraprofessionals, students, and support from parents/guardians are all instrumental in our students’ continued growth.
Here are our unofficial growth scores at this time:

I am so proud of the hard work being done by our students, paraprofessionals, teachers and parents/guardians.”
