Lexie LeVesque, Coeur d’Alene, the daughter of Lael Alexander and Bill McCabe, Bonners Ferry, and Steve and Mary LeVesque, Spokane, and a 2017 Bonners Ferry High School graduate now living in Coeur d’Alene, suffered serious injury in an accident at work Friday. After emergency surgery, she was transferred to Harborview Medical in Seattle, where she will undergo additional surgery.

This unfortunate situation will leave Lex unable to work and facing the costs of medical bills and treatment, not to mention living expenses and lost wages.

Her family want Lexie to focus on resting and recovering without the financial stress, so they have set up a Go Fund Me account and ask the community’s help.

“This girl is so strong and loving and deserves to know how much this community cares about her,” a family member wrote.

Monetary donations are not the only gift you can offer. Messages of encouragement, healing vibes, and prayers are just as valuable!

Donations, cards and letters can be mailed to Lexie LeVesque, c/o 9B News, 6619 Kaniksu St., Rm 19, Bonners Ferry, ID 83805.
