After long years and long hours and now facing health issues, Ron and Edith Erickson have decided that of necessity, the time has come to slow down, and they’ve made the hard decision to reduce hours at their iconic family restaurant, the Chic-n-Chop.
The restaurant is closed today, but will reopen on its new schedule at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 14.
New hours at the Chic-n-Chop, 6421 Main Street, Bonners Ferry, are:
- 4:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday
- 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday
- Closed Monday
We thank Ron and Edith for all they’ve given the community since Ron began working at the Chic-n-Chop while still in high school, and are grateful you’re taking the time to rest and enjoy yourselves.
