The Idaho Panhandle National Forests today announced an approximately 1.7 mile segment of Callahan Creek Boulder Road (Forest Service Road 427) in southeast Boundary County has closed for public safety due to road construction activity.
The closed segment is between Road 427’s junction with Forest Service Road 408 and its intersection with Forest Service Road 2624. The closure is expected to be in effect through September 30.
The closure is part of a series of closures scheduled on the Bonners Ferry and Sandpoint ranger districts this fall to facilitate road work.
