Piper BanningWe have a win, ladies and gentlemen! The JV Badger football team dominated against the Eureka Lions with 28-0 win last night in their second game of the 2024 season. The stands were loaded down with Badger fans as the boys graced the gridiron for yet another Badger – Lion matchup.

The varsity Badgers lost 39-6 against the Eureka Lions last night in a non-league game against their Lincoln County opponent. Conrad Hiatt ran in for the first and only touchdown in the third quarter to put the Badgers on the board. The Badgers had a good fight against the Lions but it came ending in a huge loss.

“Next week is looking up,” said one parent about next week’s showdown.

The 3A Saint Maries Lumberjacks will travel to Bonners Ferry to take on our Bonners Ferry Badgers next Friday night under the lights, September 6; 4 p.m. for JV and 7 p.m. for Varsity.
