Boys Soccer – What a win Saturday for senior day! The boy’s varsity soccer team beat Grangeville 7-1 in the final home game of the season and finished regular season 10-2 in the intermountain league (IML). Districts began today and they slaughtered St. Maries 13-o with Nikita Rawson leading in goal with four, Logan Archibald with two assists and Kordale Burt with two saves. Stay tuned for more on the district games.
Girls Soccer – Saturday the girls beat Grangeville 2-1. The girls dominated the field today in the first game of Districts winning 6-0 against the Priest River Spartans. More on the district games to come.
Football – On Friday, The JV and Varsity teams traveled the three hours to play on the Moscow Bears turf and sadly walked away with a loss for both JV and Varsity. The Varsity score was 14-28 and the JV score was 14-35. The Badgers ended the Moscow game with three wins and four losses for the season so far.
Volleyball – Ton Tuesday the Varsity girls beat Kellogg 3-1 and on Thursday, the Varsity girls were victorious against their only league opponent; the Timberlake tigers, 3-1 at the DIG PINK fundraiser. With the win, the Badgers improved their record to 10-8 for the season. Helene Rae had 50 kills and Taryn Bateman, 33.
Cross Country – The Badger Cross Country team, both JV and Varsity traveled to Lewiston on Saturday for the Lewiston Orchards Invitational. Senior Sydney Beckle wowed the fans again and ran a personal record of 20:18 and placed ninth for the Varsity girls. Matisyn Stiern and Kylie Calderone weren’t far behind her with 20:44 and 20:45 respectively. Ethan Cowell led the boys with a stellar time of 17:34.
