Thanks Mike for helping to get the great president Donald J. Trump elected. Your hateful and anti American rhetoric was of great help.
Mike, you can’t be having a good day………Go Trump……..
Thanks for all your reporting. Ironically (?), or intentionally; my being the only democrat residence within a 3 mile radius; had my mailbox trashed on election night. This being on a fairly well traveled, rural residential road in Bonners Ferry. I can’t explain the fear and sorrow I felt finding my mailbox and all its mountings laying on the road and my (very long) driveway. After living here for a few years, with no other instances of this or any other kind, I was horrified to learn that my voting registration is public record, with the exception of birthdate and social security. Party affiliation and address are all there for anyone to see. The coincidence is uncanny, and my fear that this is an action all too common in this country. I’m a bit anxious of what comes next, this event was very unnerving, one of the reasons I moved here was for the warm and friendly people.
I all in for Boundary County Seniors, that’s why I voted no on both school bonds.
Think Parent involvement & private sector funding.
When my Daughter attended Vallemar K to 8 Public school in Pacifica-1998, it was the same store as here today.
No promised money for decent teacher salaries, building maintenance or school supplies after administrators were paid. Teachers had old broken down cars while the administrative team showed up in Mercedes and Lexuses dressed in $1000 ensembles.
Parents with means donated gift certificates to Kinkos and restaurants to the teachers.
We as parents got together & volunteered for foundation work, new building temporary bungalows, painting, sheetrock repair, building a new playground, etc.
We had no hope of City, County or State money.
Local restaurants fed us sometimes.
Point is, in my opinion, We shouldn’t be asking Seniors to anti up with property tax increases. Most have ALREADY reared their own Children. We’ve already paid!
I for one don’t want to take a bus to Ponderay for a job at Walmart..
