BFHS student council hosting blood drive

The Bonners Ferry High School Student Council (STUCO) is hosting their November Blood Drive from 8:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Thursday, November 14, in the Bonners Ferry High School gym, 6485 Tamarack Lane, Bonners Ferry.

Twice a year, BFHS students organize a community blood drive in the gym for students, staff, and community members.

Their annual goal is to collect 80 units of blood, and they are aiming for 40 units at this drive. If they meet their goal, Vitalant will provide a donation to the BFHS Leadership program to support school activities. Past funds have helped cover some expenses for STUCO State and brought in guest speakers, like Chris Collins last spring. Reaching their goal is vital for their club!

If you’d like to donate, please sign up here or reach out to advisor Jaycee Atkins at jaycee.atkins@mail.bcsd101.com.
