was created in the fall of 2003, as a non-profit organization, to attract and acquire financial support to aid the Boundary County Community Restorium, an assisted living facility, in achievement of its goals and manage the assets of the Friends on the Restorium, for the maximum benefit of the Boundary County Community Restorium.

One of the best-kept secrets in Boundary County is the Community Restorium, a haven and a home for senior citizens needing assisted living services. The Friends of the Restorium was formed to involve the community, and ensure a bright future for this wonderful facility–truly a local treasure.

It takes a community to care for our honored citizens in assisted living. Friends of the Restorium has raised and donated $450,000-$500,000 since 2003 to upgrade the facility and provide services to advance the safety, care, comfort and enjoyment of the Restorium residents.

Friends of the Restorium is a non-profit organization; your donations and memorials are tax deductible. If you would like to make a difference in Boundary County, become a member of our group! Dues and only $5 per year. Send checks to the Friends of the Restorium, P.O. Box 1362, Bonners Ferry, ID 83805. They meet noon at the Chic-n-Chop on the third Thursday of each month, and all are welcome. For additional information or questions please call Jeannie at (208) 267-6030.
