GED classes are now open for enrollment and instruction at the North Idaho College Adult Education Center at Bonners Ferry High School. All tuition and instructional materials are free. New student orientation and placement testing occur daily without an appointment.
Students can receive full instruction, ask questions and work with an instructor without having to sit through lectures or a formal class. Students work independently at their own pace on the subjects they need to focus on.
Classes are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 10:30 a.m. to noon, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Class times are flexible and there are no penalties for tardiness, leaving class early or non-attendance.
Classes are taught by NIC Adult Education Center Instructor Cyndi Clark, a Boundary County native with more than 10 years of experience in helping adults earn a GED certificate.
