Winter weather on the way

The National Weather Service, Spokane, has issued a winter weather advisory for potentially heavy snow above 2,500 feet in Boundary and Bonner Counties from 4 p.m. Saturday to 10 p.m. Monday, with two to seven inches of snow possible in the valleys and up to a foot above 2,500 feet. For reference, the Boundary County Airport at Three Mile sits at 2,331 feet.
