Girls basketball, and football-volleyball All-League wrap

The only game we had last week was girls basketball.  The varsity lady Badgers had their first match up of the season last night against the 5A Sandpoint Bulldogs. Sophomore Taren Bateman led the Badgers in scoring with 13 points followed up with McKenna Baisden with seven, Nolie Hiatt with five, Brooke Petesch with four, Frankie Johnson with three, and Alexys Mierke with two to round out the Badger’s score to 34. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough for our lady Badgers because the Bulldogs doubled that score with 68.

The girls will travel to Moscow today to take on the Bears, who are also 0-1 for the season; JV will play at 5:30 p.m. and the varsity at 7 p.m.
