For more years than most care to remember Chuck Quillin and his Three Mile Cafe epitomized the true meaning of Thanksgiving as he and his crew volunteered to come in, not to cook, seat and serve every hungry soul who came through the door a free Thanksgiving dinner, but to give thanks for their many blessings by serving everyone who came through the doors; rich or poor, sated or starving, a free Thanksgiving dinner!

This year’s Three Mile Thanksgiving will be served for free to all who go in from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28.

Chuck passed away April 29, 2023. Those who knew him all agree — he is pleased the tradition continues.
