UPDATE: 11:04 a.m. — After two days on the lam, Sydney thinks the indignity of having their picture in the local press compelled Charlie and Tav to end their wandering ways, because shortly after their mug shots were posted they came strolling across the yard as if coming in from a quick tinkle! The miscreants are home and the family says thanks to all who kept an eye out!
A Labrosse Hill Street family is having a hard time consoling their heartbroken daughter since Charlie and Tay ran off Monday morning and have yet to return home. Charlie is her dog, a female yellow lab who was wearing a collar, Tay is the family Basset Hound, and she wasn’t wearing hers when the pair absconded.
They think the duo may be lost in the Paradise Valley area, but after hours upon hours of driving around and calling without a trace, they are asking folks in the area to please keep one or both eyes peeled for these two girls, and if you see them or know where they might be, please call Sydney at (208) 255-9341, day or night.
Both are spayed and chipped.
There might be some who wonder at Tay’s legs, which seem to many to be too short, especially to be keeping up with a lanky girl like Charlie, but Sydney gives assurance that despite her short legs, all four of Tay’s feet reach all the way the ground and she scoots right along. Short legs not withstanding, they love both dogs a whole lot.
“We are all heart broken and ask anyone who sees them to please call us so we can go out and search the area,” Sydney said. “We just want them home snuggled in our bed.”
