Lance Clifton, Moyie Springs, is known for his humor, laughter and helping spirit. He is marshaling each attribute and more to fight stage four metastatic abdominal cancer diagnosed last week and progressing quickly. On November 23, 2024, his body developed a blockage; nothing could pass though and he began filling up with toxic fluids.
He was rushed to the Boundary Community Hospital emergency room, where he was urgently transferred to Spokane. Lance underwent emergency surgery to clear the blockages on Tuesday, as well as his first round of chemo, and Lance is expected home by this weekend to regain his strength before his next procedure.
Being in an out of the hospital has placed additional financial stress on the family, as now they have to pay for hotel and purchase premade meals. The family is humbly asking for your help during this trying time. First and foremost, please be in prayer for Lance, that he would be 100% healed and that the stress of all of this will remain at a minimum. If you can help financially, it would be greatly appreciated.
A GoFundMe account has been established for the family. and those who’d prefer can mail donations to Clifton Cancer Fund, c/o 9B News, 6619 Kaniksu St., Bonners Ferry, ID 83805. Check should be made payable to Lance Clifton.
