Hope for Mikey, but no promises

Doctors in the critical care unit continue to do everything they can to help Mikey Bjoraker, hit by a vehicle and seriously injured on Highway 95 in front of Liberty Station on Bonners Ferry’s South Hill at about 5:48 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, one week ago today.

Family friend spoke with Mikey’s father, Bob Bjoraker, this afternoon, and learned that Mikey remains unresponsive and  on a ventilator, still unable to breathe on his own.

“Doctors told Bob there is always hope,” Connie said, “but for the moment, only time will tell.

Mikey is able to receive cards and letters mailed to Mikey Bjoraker, Kootenai Health, Critical Care 2, Room 2208, Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814. Except for family, visitors are not allowed.
