The National Weather Service, Missoula, has issued a winter weather advisory for the Kootenai/Cabinet Region in effect from 2 to 10 a.m. Saturday, which then switches over to a winter weather warning as mixed precipitation increases in intensity. The warning will remain in effect until 11 p.m. Saturday.
From one to three inches of snow and a glaze of ice is expected by 10 a.m., followed by an additional four inchees of snow and up to two-tenths of an inch of ice will make driving conditions extremely treacherous.
